Connecticut’s Budding Innovators Will Test Their Mettle Next Month At State Science Competition

HAMDEN, Conn., Feb 18, 2016 – Now in it 68th  year, the Connecticut Science & Engineering Fair (CSEF) is the definitive forum for hundreds of middle and high school students to showcase their scientific prowess. From Salisbury to Stonington, students across the nutmeg state have worked for months perfecting and refining their research projects.

The student-scientists and engineers will share their work with judges from Connecticut’s industry and academia while competing for almost $200,000 in prizes and scholarships. The possibilities for students are endless – just last year, one of the top winners from CSEF went on to win the international Google Science Fair!

CSEF invites members of the press to see the great work of Connecticut’s students at:

Finalist Judging, Thursday, March 17, 9-1:15
Awards Ceremony, Saturday, March 19, 11-12:30

All events will be held at Quinnipiac University, 275 Mount Carmel Avenue, Hamden.

The Connecticut Science & Engineering Fair is supported by the Connecticut business and industry community and is administered entirely by volunteers.
