Invest In The Youth Of Today For A Strong America Tomorrow

We seek your financial support in defraying operating expenses and providing awards for the Connecticut Science Fair. Our program is only possible because of the untiring efforts of our dedicated volunteers and the financial support of Connecticut businesses and foundations.

At the Connecticut Science & Engineering Fair, 7th – 12th graders present their research and engineering work to scientists and engineering professionals. Technical and communication skills stressed by project work prepare young people to deal with the rapidly changing aspects of our highly technological society.

While many of the Fair’s participants do go on to science and engineering professions, there are life long benefits for those who do not. We often hear from these alumni how valuable their science fair experience has proven in their chosen careers.

Suggested levels of support
  • Major Category Sponsor – $10,000
  • Project Sponsor – $5,000
  • Category Sponsor – $3,000
  • Grant Sponsor – $1,000
  • Contributor – $200
  • Friend of the Fair – $100

For contributions of $1,000 or more, student awards will be presented by the fair in the name of the donor as part of the special awards program. For project grants of $5,000 or more we would be delighted to work with your organization in developing a high visibility fair project.

Corporate Sponsors

Corporate sponsorships support Fair operations and new projects. The Fair is currently seeking sponsorship for new and existing categories. Our goal is to provide rich and varied forms of recognition for students, their advisors and schools.

Special Award Sponsors

Professional societies and businesses may sponsor awards that focus on their unique interests. These awards require a minimum value of $100 per student. Businesses are also asked to provide a minimum $100 contribution to the Fair program. Contact specialawards@ctsciencefair.org for more details.

Special Category and Project Sponsorship

  • Teacher and student workshops
  • Student/teacher/volunteer recognition awards program
