Wynn was born and raised in suburban Chicago. He received a bachelor’s degree from Pomona College (CA) and masters from the American College (PA). He worked for 32 years at Phoenix Mutual Life in Hartford in Marketing and Administration. He retired in 1999. Wynn and wife Sandy have two married sons, Marc and Mike. Marc lives in New Hartford, Ct. with wife Kimberly and daughter Lainey. Mike lives in Hingham, Ma. with wife Laura. Wynn enjoys fishing and boating at his summer home in Wilton Maine. He is an avid reader and president of his lake association. He has been active with the Cromwell Wetlands Agency, Zoning Board of Appears, Board of Assessment Review and Voter Selection Committee. He has worked with for the science fair for 23 years. He chairs the CSF registration committee and served as ISEF coordinator since 1997. Wynn also enjoys cooking and is currently leading his fantasy baseball league.
